Greetings GSLA Families and Community, 

It is my pleasure to serve as your Assistant School Executive! I began my educational career in Bertie County Schools in 2017 as a high school History teacher at Bertie High School. I spent two years teaching in the district before accepting a position closer to home with Weldon City Schools. Over the next four years, I served as the History teacher at Roanoke Valley Early College. 

In September 2023, I joined Northampton County Schools as the Assistant School Executive at Gaston STEM Leadership Academy.  

My educational background includes a Bachelor's in Public Health Education from North Carolina Central University in 2017 and a Master's of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023. 

I have a true passion for educating our future. I believe all children can learn! I aim to provide a climate and culture conducive to teaching and learning.
